Mounir Spann

I am a driven and adaptable civil engineering student with a passion for understanding how things work, solving problems, and turning ideas into practical solutions. I enjoy hands-on work and opportunities that allow me to combine technical thinking, creativity, and design. Through my work experiences the past couple year as I come into my own, I have continued to develop a practical mindset and an appreciation for learning through experience.

My background in track and field from high school to the division 1 level has played a significant role in shaping my character. As a team captain, two-time state champion, and Nike All-American, I developed discipline, leadership, focus, and the determination to pursue challenging goals. These experiences taught me the importance of consistency, accountability, teamwork, and performing under pressure.

Beyond athletics and work, I have participated in volunteer activities involving schools, church, and STEM events, and small contracting projects, reflecting my interest in learning, community involvement, and personal growth. I am eager to pursue opportunities in civil engineering, construction, design, and related technical fields where I can gain hands-on experience, expand my knowledge, and contribute to meaningful projects. My long-term goal is to build a career that combines technical expertise, practical problem-solving, and opportunities to explore new places and experiences.
